There's nothing wrong being a tomboy or not being girlish as some girls are. I know girls who are not "TOMBOYs" at all but they feel like a DUDE in front of some girls just because some girls are tooo GIRLISH
nothing wrong being a tomboy, nothing wrong not wearing make ups, and nothing wrong the clothes you want to wear, its you and its your identity and how you want yourself to be and i reckon thats what makes you satisfied.
got no comments about being a lesbian if one is a tomboy .. lol had never heard of it before ,, dont thin its true .
regards,

whoa!!! what a topic... actually i dont really like the term tomboy..makes me feel like i'm talin abt mark twain's tom and more importantly "tom" as in a boy... so from now on i'll just refer it as "babe" . so i've absolutely no problem with girls bein a babe. actually i think its great.. i absolutely adore girls lookin like a babe. actually i'm more attracted to babe than just normal girls. u know somethin.. if u've watched teen movies.. i love the girls dressed up in all black .. with dark eye liners and things like that.. i donno if they fall in "babe" category .. but still love them.. dress the hell u like it as.. or not..

Maybe its only my head, but I've heard almost every girl claim that she is/was a Tomboy, be it at the moment or been so at one point of time. These phrases are not new I presume, "when I was younger, I was a complete tomboy" or "I am a tomboy" or "I don't apparently look like one, but I am a complete tomboy at heart". Phew!
Being in a "state" of Tomboy-ness is perfectly fine as far as one's natural being is concerned, but equally fine are the comments attached to it. You can't blame people having problems with that in this cynical world where everything is sought to be precise when it comes to an individual's opinion. If you are a girl by birth, people expect you to be so in action. Not condemning the choice though. It still is fine.
Tomboys are far more privileged than the boys who act feminine when it comes to being picked up. Tomboy-ism is almost an almost socially accepted social phenomena, while AliceGirl-ism is so not.
(I just introduced the term AliceGirl to the world. Alice being the male alternative for Tom literally, no better term.)
Scene 1.
A- "Look! A Tomboy.
B- Oh. Okay.
Scene 2.
A- Look an Alicegirl.
B- Haha. Queer. Lets throw whatever we can find at him.
A- No no. Its her. Haha.
G- I am in too.
And thats natural too. A guy who acts like a girl is way more in trouble. Girls don't have to explain all the time about their sexuality, men do.
That was just to boost you up, there are things far worse. So stop caring. |

I believe the journey to friendship has to be spontaneous (haumm..i could be defending my OWN actions here.. hmm... gosh! i AM defending myself... this is a revelation)... the initial spark is never spontaneous in reality.. one has to act first, right... the question of spontaneity arises later... blah blah blah... i need kittens

I was only offering a suggestion. Since you said

I assumed you don't have a tomboy for a friend as yet. And Wallflower here is a Tomboy, I thought you could try getting in her friend's zone and finally step on what you'd love to have.
You didn't thank me right. But you asked
| Quote: |
| @Imelda: are you thanking wallflower coz she thanked you or because she agreed with you? |
So I said in response
